The Foundation Project Lodz invites to take part in the forthcoming social debate at the Dominican Fathers (Zielona Str. 13), held by the Institute Tertio Millenio next Thursday, on April 17, at 7 pm.

4 years ago, after vibrant public discussions, Poland joined the European Union with high hopes, but also fears. We were about to become one of subjects shaping common European future. Since than the Community undergoes deep transitions, some of which provoke complaints on democracy’s deficit. The debate at the Dominicans will tackle this fragile issue, trying to answer following questions: did we fulfill our hopes, did our fears turn to be reasonable, and, finally, what does the Lisbon Treaty introduce to European politics, economy and how does it consider the Christian values?
