The "Project Lodz" Foundation kindly recommends participating in a conference: „WHAT EDUCATION? Good practice in cooperation of non-governmental organizations and local self-governments in the field of education", organized by the Jagiellonian Institute.
Date: December 15th 2008 (Monday), 10.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.
Venue: Warsaw, Kyriad Prestige Hotel (2 Towarowa Street)
The conference summarizes a project that explores cooperation between non-governmental organizations and local governments, concerning educational institutions. Participants will receive a report on the research conclusions. Invited speakers are:
• Katarzyna Hall, Minister of National Education (possibly a representative of the Ministry),
• Mayors of villages and towns, where the research was conducted,
• dr Arkadiusz Peisert, Krzysztof Brosz, Marcin Chludziński - co-authors of the report representing „Grupa Doradztwa i Treningu INVENT",
• dr Jerzy Lackowski - Head of the Educational Study at the Jagiellonian University,
• dr Anna Okońska-Walkowicz - Vice-president of the Civic Educational Association,
• Aleksander Komaniecki - President of the public benefit organization „Stowarzyszenie Rodziców na rzecz Pomocy Szkołom PRZYJAZNA SZKOŁA",
• Jan Filip Staniłko - Policy Executive of the Jagiellonian Institute,
• Barbara Kuczałek - President of the „Społeczno-Oświatowe Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Pokrzywdzonym i Niepełnosprawnym EDUKATOR",
• Representative of the „Stowarzyszenie Wspierania Edukacji i Rodziny STERNIK".
