Within this year's extended formula products and services of local authorities have been presented in parallel to panel debates in three blocks ("Offices informatisation", "Management of Public Funds" and "Promotion of Cities and Regions").
The main point of the entire Days was the evening gala, when the reward "Innovator" to the most appreciated mayor was handled along with rewards in several other competitions (best investments and efficient public-owned companies). The winners were elected by the totality of participants of the local governmental sphere, whereas best municipal projects have been selected by the Academy of Local Governance, composed of 2007 winners. The rewards were handled by Mr. Ireneusz Jablonski, the President of the Project Lodz Foundation and Mr. Eric Pickles, gala's guest of honor, member of the British Conservative Party's shadow cabinet, responsible for local development.
