Projekt Łodź
Project for Łódź
Project for Lodz

Lodz as the second biggest city in Poland has its unique history, cultural wealth, and economic potential, but it simultaneously struggles with problems typical for this kind of agglomeration. Aspects that require some serious changes and transformations mainly concern these areas which directly influence people’s lives. In order to improve its economics, security standards and civilizational development, the city of Lodz needs a brave vision and strong leadership capable of putting into force the ambitious plans.

As an association Project Lodz that functions beyond any party structures offers a holistic program for the improvement of the situation in Lodz with regards to the most crucial areas and consequently of the quality of life for its citizens. What distinguishes us is complexity and cohesion of our vision as well as actual suggestions of solutions of specific problems. We do not promise things that are unrealistic. We do not talk about reckless distribution of resources and boosting bureaucracy. We offer a strategic approach. As far as the city management is concerned, one can successfully imply a business strategy while simultaneously enhancing a public-private cooperation. The effects of synergy gained thanks to a coherent vision and holistic approach to the city management will result in a greater efficiency of investment projects, higher citizens’ life standard, unemployment reduction and creation of a positive image of the city both on national and international level. We distinguished eight broad fields that require far-reaching reforms.
