Our ideas
“Project Lodz” has been appointed by people who strongly believe, that there is a lot of potential within the City of Lodz. The gathering consist of individuals with different education, age and occupational position. It is thanks to their intellectual and organizational abilities, that our city has got a chance for a dynamic development in a wise direction.
The main goal that leads us is transforming Lodz into a city, where the residents live a safe and comfortable life.
To obtain that, the “Project Lodz” Foundation is preparing programs of modernization of the city in all fields that are crucial for the functioning of an aglomeration, which are:
- Commanding research in sociology, economy, urban planning, tourism and public safety;
- Organizing a public debate over the future od our city, and directions of its development;
- Aiming at the increase of civic activity of the residents of Lodz.
Ideological Principles, that guide us are:
- A Christian tradition of Europe, that allows our continent to face the challenges from 21st century, globalizing world;
- A concept of a Minimum State/Minimum Commune, in which the central authority is limited only to fill in the top social functions;
- civic capitalism – a economic system, where the products and abilities are consumed by all of the individuals, not only by the ill oligarchy;
- inter-generational exchange of elites.
